Copa America is here as CONMEBOL and Concacaf will join forces for the first time since 2016. In that edition, Chile won over Argentina but a lot has changed since. La Roja have struggled as of late and are looking to rebound under a proven coach in Ricardo Gareca, who got Peru to the 2018 World Cup. Argentina are reigning champions of Copa America and won the 2022 World Cup. It's a chance for the United States, Canada and Mexico to prepare for the 2026 World Cup that they'll be jointly hosting while serving as a chance for fans in the U.S. to see some of the world's best.

 CONMEBOL-CONCACAF joint Copa America is coming this summer for the first time since 2016 Chile defeated Argentina in that edition but a lot has changed since then for both sides. La Roja has been in a rut and will look to bounce back through head coach Ricardo Gareca, who took Peru to the 2018 World Cup. World Cup winners 2022 and current Copa America champions, Argentina.

A run-up to the World Cup from 2026, hosted by the USA, Canada, and Mexico means some of the best teams in the world will be on display for USMNT supporters.

That trio of hosts will not play in World Cup qualifying because they have an automatic spot because they are hosting and so we won't get to see them again until then, which means this tournament will give us a better idea of where some countries sit in the rebuilding process.
